Senior Consultant: - Philip Cornick

Philip brings over 35 years Lloyd’s and London market claims experience to Arcadian. Specialist in Marine Hull, Non-Proportional Excess of Loss and Proportional Treaty Reinsurance.

As former Head of Marine, Energy and Aviation claims at Brit Insurance, he chaired the Claims Committee from 1996 to 2005.

Philip is a member of various market associations, including the Joint Excess of Loss Committee, British Maritime Law Insurance and is a former Chairman of the L.M.A. Marine Claims Committee and the newly formed Joint Marine Claims Committee (Lloyd’s and IUA).

In addition, he is a Panel Member of the A.I.D.A Reinsurance & Insurance Arbitration Society of the UK (ARIAS) and is currently appointed as an expert witness on a number of matters.

Philip also has considerable experience of both drafting and revising policy wordings and clauses and, in addition, provides proof reading of such documents for content, consistency and accuracy.
